The Great Britain features a fine selection of 1d Blacks and 2d Blues, three ‘Rainbow’ Color Trial Proofs, an interesting section of the ‘Underprints’, mint QV incl a spectacular 1855 4d ‘Large Garter’ Block-of-4. The section also offers a comprehensive selection of other British material, to include a 4d sage Pl. 17 ‘Abnormal’, Die Proofs incl the SG 185 £1 KEVII, the ‘Seahorses’ (w/ Blocks-of-4), and the rare 1885 5/- rose w’’ Inverted Watermark.

 

The Great Britain continues with an 1887 10d Jubilee used, and KEVII 2/6d “SPECIMEN”, QEII errors (including a nice group of Machin imperf pairs and the 1967 Xmas SG 757b), Officials include SG O63 and O110, and a very strong range of Unexploded Booklets.

 

A strong British Commonwealth section incls a particularly fine Ceylon and K.U.T. (w/ high quality 1922 KGV high values, featuring the £25 and £50 “SPECIMEN” issues), New Zealand missing colors, Zanzibar high values, an India SG 50, the Gibraltar £5, Sierra Leone SG 67, and the only recorded Nigeria 1935 Jubilee Master Die Proof.
